Event Summary

This course will be run as virtual classroom style training using the platform Microsoft Teams. When you confirm your booking you will receive an email with a link to join the session. Please note: you can join a Microsoft Teams meeting either via the app or through your web browser. 

This one-day course takes delegates through BS 9999, concentrating primarily on the use of the code in design of means of escape from fire. It includes a short practical exercise and comparison of results with traditional codes.

James Lane - Regional Director for BB7 After graduating in Fire Engineering he began consultancy with Arup Fire in 1996, moving to Tenos in 2000, and then SAFE fire consultants as an Associate Director. In May 2008 he expanded Hilson Moran's fire services into Fire Consultancy and Engineering as their Principal Fire Consultant, and he is also member of the Registrants Group within the Institution of Fire Engineers.
